HV lens / 03
HV 75 mm f/2 ED
A short telephoto for faces and for flattening a landscape. One extra-low dispersion element keeps colour fringing out of backlit hair and branches.

The 75 mm arrived in November 2025, eight months after the camera. It needed firmware 1.2.0 on the H1 to focus at full speed, and every H1 shipped since then has it.
Ten elements in eight groups, including one ED element and one aspherical. Focusing is internal with two linear motors, so the lens does not change length and the front does not rotate, which matters with a polariser.
At 386 g it is the heaviest HV lens. The H1 balances well with it, and the optional TG-1 thumb grip helps if you shoot it all day.
