HV 28 mm f/2 Asph

The 28 mm was the first lens drawn for the HV mount and it set the rules for the others: all-metal barrel, an aperture ring with real detents, and a focus ring that turns 120 degrees from close focus to infinity when you switch it to linear response.

Nine elements in seven groups, two of them aspherical. Distortion is held under 1 percent without software correction, so the profile embedded in the raw file only corrects vignetting. Rubber gaskets at the mount, aperture ring and focus ring make it weather sealed on the H1.

The included LH-28 hood is a short rectangular shade in machined aluminium. It bayonets on, and it reverses for storage.
